Sorry didn't post yesterday, with all the excitement of getting out Hotel Acro, I lost track of the blog!!! It was a busy day... get freed, drive home, quick stop at Meijer for a humidifier, lunch in Oxford, then home to puppies. They were so sweet, super excited, and so gentle! No one jumped wildly on me, Latifah couldn't stop licking my hand, Misia head butted my leg at least 20 times, Maly and Brownie kept sitting on me and Fawn whined and kept her paws on my leg!! So sweet... Gracie even have me kisses before she batted me away! They dogs have been glued to me since!! After such a wonderful welcome, I fell asleep until Marc, Pam, Cody, Sierra and Muppy stopped by. It was a very wonderful day!
Today was pretty much the same... sleep, dogs, est, digs, sleep... but today my face TINGLES!!! Started around 5pm, and it's now 10:45, and continues still. My hands do to, thanks to the Acro Carpal Tunnel, and my face kinda feels the same way. So strange.... did my face fall asleep for 16 days, very and its finally waking up, could be... is the AC too high and two temperature change from outside to inside to drastic? Could be I guess... I posted on my support group, and a few tribe members responded that they had the same experience after surgery.... so maybe?!?? If emailed the doctors and will see what they say. Otherwise all is well!
Hopefully I'll hear back by tomorrow that this is nothing and I can move on... until then, its back to sleep for me!
You may see posts like "Today, I ate, slept, hung out with the folks and dogs, then slept some more". I may not always have something witty or interesting to say!!

ReplyDeleteYou don't need to be witty for us. Just keep eating, resting, sleeping and getting stronger and healthier every day. Hugs..

Uh duh lady...all we want is for you to heal, not entertain us. Much love and hugs!

ReplyDeleteIsa, I'm sorry I have not been up on your blog or even talking with you during all of this Acro adventure. In part because it freaks me out (honest)! My primary is Tree and I have been focused on her (truth)! I have followed every moment of your adventure including the visit to the Mayo. I am so sorry I wasn't with you during your surgery. I wanted to be there, with you and with the medical eagle eye to know and to see and to ask questions that you be safe.
ReplyDeleteYour brain fluid leaked out of your head, near daily for a few weeks.
Wow! I am surprised to hear how short a time it took for you to lose an inch and a half of height and 24 pounds while in a hospital bed. Yucky place to be for 2 weeks. Glad you're with your mostly girls and I am so pleased to hear that they know to treat you gingerly! Smiling with your recovery+) Love you Isa!
Totally ok - I understand!! It's all good!! It's still a bit surreal and a little magical still!! My head is still spinning, trying to grasp it all!
