Clamped off

This morning, Danielle, my nurse practitioner, came by with Luis Santorini the neurosurgeon resident from Argentina, to block out the lumbar drain to see. If I don't leak for 24 hours, I can go home. Now this is sister Tree writing. Bella keeps falling asleep while writing so I took over. She keeps avoiding sleep so she can keep this blog up to date! I've decided to steal her tablet and write for her to allow her to sleep. When I got here this morning they had her walking around for the first time in a week. Her homework today is to take a spin around the halls three more times. So far, so good - no leaking!!! Yay!!!

And the changes have started! We've all noticed the swelling in her hands and feet start to subside! Her cheek bones are starting to be seen! The skin is not tight in lots of places! I had no idea that changes would start so soon. Very exciting to witness!
