Sister Tree again. Isa had another operation today to stop the brain fluid leak. Yesterday, she had a leak twice, minor but a leak none the less. The neurosurgeon team decided last night to operate to fix the leak. She was to go in at 8am, then moved to 9:30, and she finally went in at 10:30am. The operation took 2 hours. We all thought it was going to be a quicky, but nope... they had seen something on the MRI or CT scan that didn't look right so decided, while in there, they'd take a look. They didn't find anything that looked like a tumor. They did see something strange but they do not know what it is. We are not thinking on that right now and I'm just gonna consider it Bella weirdness!!!! Oh, we got the results from the tumor biopsy. All is well on that front. They had to put in another lumbar drain today and are pulling 6cc per hour out now. Well, that's down from 12cc per hour last time. She also has tubes in her nose that look like spools of thread. Way scary looking actually.... I could not help myself today... I cried when I saw her.... spools in her nose, blood dripping out of her nostrils, blood on her pillow.... yikes! And she was feeling like 'an elephant stepped on her head'- her words. Says it's worse then the brain surgery! She's amazing though, she saw me crying and started comforting ME!!!! I had to stop crying obviously!!! She has to rest and think of herself!!! Anyway.... she's currently sleeping.

Oh ya, her taste buds are off. Don't know if that's temporary or what.

I think that's about all for now. Oh, that leak was pretty small and they patched it up easily. Let's hope it works!!
