FREEDOM!

After 3 full days and 4 nights - I am finally being sprung out of the hospital! Freedom - Finally!

Unfortunately, they are sending me home with more medication - blood thinners, blood pressure meds (I have white coat syndrome - my bp gets higher when I am in the hospital, so hopefully I will be able to be off those very soon) - in addition to continuing the antibiotics for the staph (which is gone now - yeah!), and some additional meds from the knee surgery that I am wrapping up.  The blood thinners will be a six month regimen, so no surgeries for me for another 6 months. This means, my hysterectomy needs to be delayed for 6 months. I guess this will force me to actually stop thinking about surgeries, enjoy my life for 6 months, and allow my body to heal!

I am still not cleared to drive though. That will depend on my Physical Therapist, which just means I need to bust my butt in my PT sessions so that my guy will sign off and say I can drive - then I can head back to the west side of the state and actually show my face in the office for a few weeks before I head to Utah (hopefully that will still happen).

So - that's it for now - it's all about FREEDOM today!
