I thought I was done... but no... no such luck apparently. I'm not sure if it was the stress of going back to work, but I could feel my lower jaw pushing forward all day on Tuesday (July 5th)... I wasn't able to close my mouth without my lower teeth pushing on my upper teeth. Seems like this always happens on Tuesdays, which is really odd! It always freaks me out a bit, and reminds me that my Acromegaly journey is not over yet, and there are potential changes still coming ahead.
I really thought that removing the tumor would stop all growth and movement - but maybe it takes time for for things to 'stop' changing until all my growth hormones (GH) have regulated - but if the tumor is gone, I would have thought that no more GH was being over produced, and growth would stop.
This is why this freaks me out - does this mean my GH is still being over produced? .
